Artificial Intelligence (AI) studies the creation of computer systems capable of performing tasks that would normally require human intelligence. Through advanced algorithms and the use of huge amounts of data, it aims to develop systems that can learn, reason, solve problems and make decisions in a similar way to humans. Some examples of AI include voice recognition, machine translation and autonomous vehicle driving. AI is transforming many industries, however, it is still in its infancy.
What can I ask from Artificial Intelligence?

A TEXT

The starting point for making artificial intelligence accessible to the general public is the generation of textual content. The user can enter an instruction or request and the system responds by producing a text string corresponding to the input provided. This approach can be applied to different types of AI, enabling a wide range of applications based on text generation.

The most widely used is OpenAI’s ChatGPT, but there are other platforms such as Claude, Bard, Gemini, Perplexity and Llama. Some of these are better suited for strategy generation, others are better for the creative and data analysis part.

ATTENTION!

Generating a text with Artificial Intelligence does not mean replacing a physical person (also because otherwise we will all be robots in a few years’ time), but helping with the design, providing ideas and inspiration points to optimise the creation process.

AN IMAGE

The user provides descriptive input and receives in response an artificially generated image, instead of textual output. However, this process is more complex, as it requires greater precision of detail; many image creation models struggle to understand small details, such as the correct spelling of words and the specific details of the central elements of the image, thus compromising the accuracy of the final result.

Why should I use it then? Good question.

Despite minor flaws, there are many benefits behind creating an image with AI. First of all is the fact that you get a unique photo as a result, no one else will ever have it; and if you are not satisfied with the end result you can always retouch it by adding your own personality.

Remember, though, that Artificial Intelligence should be a cue, a starting point to stimulate our creativity, not to replace it.

If you are looking for an image generator, try these:

  • Gemini by Google
  • Stability AI
  • DaVinci by Midjourney – the best for details
  • Canva – Magic studio

A VIDEO

Another Artificial Intelligence skill is that of generating video content. Instead of producing textual output or static images, the user can provide input through an interface and receive in response a real synthetically generated movie. Some companies have already implemented this technology such as, for example, Runway ML for editing and modifying videos and Synthesia that takes a suggestion and turns it into a human being speaking and repeating it.

NEW THINGS TO COME…

The OpenAI platform has come up with a new project called SORA, an application that will be able to produce realistic and suggestive videos from a textual request. It is currently only a research product, so not yet confirmed, but it will be made available to a group of experts who will test its vulnerability and effectiveness.

One benefit we could enjoy will be the convenience of having 3 generative services in one: Chat GPT, Dall-e and SORA, the 3 products of OpenAI.

YOUR COMPANY AI

The possibility of creating, with the help of experienced companies in the field, a chat dedicated entirely to your company. Once you have entered all of your company data, such as general information and strategies, the AI will be able to respond to all of your requests respecting your company’s style and ideologies, create predefined chats for customer service, and help you design and implement a specific product or service.

Don’t worry, the companies that allow you to create all this guarantee complete data protection, being able to select yourself the people who will have access to this information and blocking responses to outsiders.

IN THE FUTURE? what will happen?

We are all, more or less, aware of the capabilities of artificial intelligence, but in the future? what will happen?

Artificial intelligence is rapidly evolving and its impact on society is set to grow exponentially in the coming years. Generative AI, those listed above capable of producing text, images, audio and video, will open up new frontiers in the creation of digital content. Human-machine interaction will become increasingly natural and intuitive, thanks to systems that can understand human language and provide contextualised responses.

AI-driven automation will revolutionise many areas of work, replacing repetitive tasks and freeing up time for more creative and strategic activities. Areas such as healthcare, transport and energy will be transformed by more efficient and effective systems for diagnosing, planning and optimising processes.

Something new is brewing…

A SAAS

This is a tool that could help you develop software without you being a programming expert, a quick and easy way to create automations even as an inexperienced person. Or it can simply help programmers to reduce the work time behind each project.

REQUEST A PHYSICAL PRODUCT

The AI will be able, thanks to 3D printing, to create any type of product the user desires. Starting with the creation of simple t-shirts: ‘Create a black t-shirt of 4 different sizes with the words “DIGITAL PUNK” in the middle in large block letters’.

We believe that in the future, as technologies develop, there will be the possibility of using chat to support building design and space management solutions simply by communicating personal preferences.

Following the development of the idea, 3D printing techniques could be used to realise the project… turnkey!

CONCLUSIONS

At Digital Punk, we want to help our customers understand and adopt AI tools in different business processes, from data production and analysis to managerial decision-making.

We are, in fact, launching a course to introduce these technologies to businesses, taking into account the business needs and risks that AI can generate, bringing growth opportunities even to those who are less open to change.
